Car Seats
Safe Kids Coalition offers a class on how to properly install car seats and will inspect a car seat to check for proper installation, also offer a car seat at a reduced rate.

Classes
Cartersville Medical Center offers Parenting, childbirth, breast feeding, fathering classes for new parents. Visit their Kids' and Teens' Health Archive for information on taking care of your child.

Medical Care
Peach care for Kids Call 1-877-PEACH for an application. Free for children under 3 years old and small monthly fee for children over 3. Covers check ups, immunizations, dental, vision, and counseling.

Nutritional Assistance
WIC (Women, Infants and Children) offers supplemental nutritious foods, nutrition education and counseling at WIC clinics and screening and referrals to other health, welfare and social services to pregnant women, children under 5 years old and breastfeeding mother's until the child's first birthday. Contact your local health department or the WIC web site listed above.
