Beef O'Brady's Partners to Support Character Award
The Cartersville School Foundation has partnered with Beef O’ Brady’s to have two deserving students, who have a proven record of community service and have demonstrated strong character in their daily lives, to receive the Superintendent’s Character Award. Two students, one from the middle school and one from the high school, will each receive a $500.00 savings bond compliments of Beef O’ Brady’s. In addition, they will receive a certificate and a medal at a Cartersville School Board meeting.
Beef O’ Brady’s owner/operator Jim Ackerman said, “I was excited about being a part of this program. As the father of a future Cartersville student, I appreciate the emphasis our schools place on character education. As the owner/operator of a restaurant that caters to families, youth organizations and school groups, I want my community to know we are proud to assist the Foundation with this new initiative.” Superintendent of Schools Dr. J. Howard Hinesley said, “I appreciate the support we are receiving from Beef O’ Brady’s. Their support will help our school system reinforce the strong Character Education program we have in place."
