PowerSchool is a secure web-based program which helps parents connect to the classroom.
Parents have access to information about their student as related to:
* schedules
* attendance
* current grade averages
* current electronic teacher's gradebook showing the grade for each assignment (Grades 3-12)
* history of grades (high school)
* E-mail to teachers
Additionally, parents can set up PowerSchool to automatically send an email at a selected interval regarding grades, attendance, and posted school announcements.
Accessing PowerSchool
1. Parents must obtain their secure login and password from their child's school.
2. Click on the PowerSchool link from the system web site at www.cartersville.k12.ga.us.
3, Enter the secure login ID and password into the appropriate spaces. Click Enter.
4. You should see a screen with your child's information.
5. Selecting the various icons at the top of the screen will enable the parent to access various information.
