New Students

Registration Information

Parent Must Be Present:  A custodial parent or legal guardian must accompany students to register.

Legal Guardianship:  Proof of custody or guardianship must be provided for students not living with biological parents.

Proof of Residency:  Proof that the parent resides within the Cartersville City limits must be provided at registration. Examples: utility bill with name, date, address clearly listed real estate document

Social Security Card:  The student's social security number is required.

Health Forms: All students entering school in Cartersville shall be required to have:

  • Georgia Certificate of Immunization. Students who do not have proof of immunization will have a thirty-day extension to obtain this form from the Bartow County Health Department.
  • Hearing, Vision, and Dental Certificate.  This may be obtained from the Bartow County Health Department by appointment.

School Records: A student's withdrawal form from the previous school and a copy of his/her transcript must be provided at the time of registration so that appropriate courses can be selected.  Placement is tentative until the student's official transcipt has been received. Eligibility for competitive activities is determined by the student's official transcript, which must be received before participation.
